Helen Pinter, 88, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Saturday, January 9, 2021 at Care One in Bound Brook, NJ. Born in Youngstown, OH, Helen resided in Warren Township, NJ for over 18 years before moving to Three Bridges and finally settling in Branchburg, NJ where she was residing prior to her death. Helen graduated from Chaney High School in Youngstown, OH. After graduating, Helen went on to work in a wide variety of positions but worked over 20 years at Bell Labs/Lucent where she retired from in 2001. Her favorite job was being a wife and mother. Helen loved gardening, crocheting, and traveling around the world with her late husband Thomas. She enjoyed taking annual trips to Myrtle Beach with her family. She was the life of the party. One thing Helen enjoyed the most was spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband Thomas J. Pinter, her parents, Anna and John Sefcik, two brothers, Joseph and Michael Sefcik, and three sisters, Ann Patrick, Agnes Kozlowsky, and Veronica Dlwgosh. Surviving are her dear son Paul J. Pinter of Branchburg, NJ; three loving daughters, Rebecca and husband Peter Hollis of Lambertville, NJ; Ruth Helsel of Lititz, PA; Nancy and husband Antonio Pinon of Dallas, TX; daughter-in-law Gillian Pinter of Raritan, NJ; one brother, John Sefcik, of Youngstown, OH; a sister, Mary Komsa of Youngstown, OH; ten cherished grandchildren, Robin, Ashley, Leigh, Megan, Erin, Cara, Claire, Nicole, Thomas, and James and two adored great grandchildren, Keira and Asher, and many loving nieces and nephews. Memorial contributions may be made in Helen's memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude PL, Memphis, TN 38105. Committal is private. A celebration of life will be scheduled at a later date.
