Helen Rose Lee Norcross , 77, died Friday, December 7, 2007 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Chelsea, MA, she resided in Providence, RI, moving to Madison, NJ in 1974 and then to Bridgewater 3 months ago. Mrs. Norcross worked as a Customer Service Representative for Fred S. James Insurance Agency in Short Hills, NJ for 15 years until retiring in 1989. Helen was a former member of St. Vincent's R.C. Church in Madison. She enjoyed taking vacations at the beaches of Rhode Island and spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was a great wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother and will be missed by all who loved her. She was preceded in death by her son, Robert, in 1991. Surviving are her beloved husband of 57 years, Horace L., Jr.; her loving daughter, Carol Westra and husband, Harold, of Newton, her loving sons, Thomas and wife, Rosemarie, of West Greenwich, RI and David and wife, Toni-Ann of Bridgewater; seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. Funeral services will begin with a prayer on Monday at 9:15 AM at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ, 08876, (908) 526-7638, followed a 10:00 AM Funeral Liturgy at St. Bernard R.C. Church, 500 Route 22 East, Bridgewater, NJ. Interment will be in St. Vincent's Cemetery, Madison, NJ. Visitation hours will be Sunday from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
