Joan Lindemann, 86, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, July 11, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital, Somerville. Born in Hoboken, NJ she resided in North Plainfield for 20 years before moving to Branchburg, NJ 44 years ago. Mrs. Lindemann was a homemaker. She was very active with her church for many years. Joan was a chairperson for the Board Footprints Christian Pre-School. She was also a member of the Eastern Star for 65 years. Joan enjoyed sewing, was an avid reader, enjoyed traveling throughout Europe, but most importantly she enjoyed spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Helen and Lawrence Conrad and two loving sisters, Doris Seyler and Florence Gonzales. Surviving are her loving husband of 65 years, A. Bernard Lindemann; a dear son, Russell and wife Diane Lindemann of Brodheadsville, PA; a cherished daughter, Ellen and husband Tulsi Maharjan of Neshanic Station, NJ; and many adored grandchildren and great grandchildren. Viewing will be held from 2-4 and 7-9pm on Friday, July 13, 2018 at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Funeral services will start with a prayer at the funeral home at 9:30am on Saturday, July 14, 2018, followed by a 10:30am funeral service at St. Luke's Lutheran Church in Dunellen, NJ.
