Gustav F. Konnecke Bridgewater, NJ Gustav F. Konnecke, 86, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 14, 2019. Born in Somerville, NJ, he has resided in Bridgewater for his entire life. Gustav worked for the Local # 825 as an operator engineer before retiring in 1993. Mr. Konnecke was an avid hunter and fisherman, but he also took pride in his vegetable garden. One thing that meant the most to Gustav was spending quality time with his family especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Mary and William Konnecke, 2 brothers William and Herman Konnecke and a loving sister Elizabeth Konnecke. Surviving are is dear son Keith and wife Dawn of Holland Township, NJ; 2 loving daughters Candice and husband Andrew Vena of Delaware Township and Kim Kenworthy of Liberty Corner; 2 brothers Karl Konnecke of Branchburg, NJ; Kenneth and wife Clair Konnecke of Bridgewater, NJ; 1 cherished sister Catherine and husband Walter Bittner of Lambertville; NJ and many adored grandchildren and great grandchildren. A viewing will be held on Sunday, March 17, 2019 from 4-7pm with a prayer service at 6:30pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Committal is private. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Community Care Hospice.
