Guido R. Pellicciaro, 95, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 10, 2023, at Rolling Hills Care Center. Born in Lanciano, Italy, Guido immigrated to the United States 89 years ago. He spent time in Bronx, NY, and Somerville, NJ before moving to Branchburg, NJ 65 years ago.

Guido graduated from Somerville High School, Class of 1946. He met the love of his life, Anita, shortly thereafter. The two were married in 1953, spending 67 years together. Together they had four loving children, 3 sons and 1 daughter. Guido was a sergeant in the U.S. Army from October 25, 1950 till September 23, 1952. Following his honorable military career, he was a Union pressman for the Star Ledger for 10 years before retiring in 1999.

Guido was a member of the Amalgamated Lithographers Local 1L Union in New York, NY, as well a member of the Graphic Communications Benevolent Trust Fund. He was extremely hardworking in everything that he did.

Guido was an avid Mets fan and stamp collector over the years, possessing quite the collection. He also enjoyed building model boats. Guido enjoyed traveling and vacationing to Italy, Bermuda, Arizona, and California. He also frequently enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, NJ. Most importantly, Guido enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Maria and Amedeo Pellicciaro, his three brothers, Amalio Jr., Aldo, Golfredo, his sister, Inez Dineri and his loving wife, Anita Pellicciaro (2020).

He is survived by his four children, Cindy and her husband, Gerry Boylan of Clinton Township, NJ; Wayne and his wife, Bonnie Pellicciaro of Lebanon Township, NJ; Guy and his wife Jane Pellicciaro of Scottsdale, AZ; Ken Pellicciaro of Springerville, AZ; two cherished grandchildren: Rick and Jeana, and two great-grandchildren Vincent and Lucia, as well as many loving nieces and nephews.

Last respects will be held from 9:00am-9:30am at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910, Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. A graveside service will follow at 10am at Immaculate Conception Cemetery, 33 Union Ave Somerville, NJ 08876.

The family will be accepting friends to join them for lunch at the Stoney Brook Grille 1285 NJ-28 North Branch, NJ 08876.
