Grace Ebbe, 98, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away peacefully on Monday, March 30, 2020 at Bridgeway Care Center in Bridgewater, NJ. Born in Plainfield, NJ, Grace resided in Clark for 48 years before moving to Branchburg 30 years ago. Grace graduated from Rutgers College for Women in 1942 which is now known as Douglass College. After graduating from Rutgers, she received her Master's Degree from Columbia University in Mathematics in 1949. Grace was a member of the Pioneers Club for Bell Labs, Dickens Fellowship of New York, Honorary member of Branchburg Rotary Club, Clark Elks, and she volunteered at Agape. Grace loved the theatre and the Opera; was an avid reader; loved going out to dinner with her family. She also enjoyed traveling. As a young adult, Grace was a pro table tennis player where she achieved the Rank of State Champion in the women's tournament. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents. Her husband of 37 years George B and a brother Wilbur Lakin. Surviving are her loving daughter Lucille and husband Anthony Puccarelli of Branchburg, NJ. Funeral services will be private.
