Gloria M. Fava, 88, of Chesterfield, NJ, passed away on Friday, September 4, 2020 at RWJ Hamilton. Born in Cossato, Italy, Gloria resided in New York from 1947-1993 until her and her husband retired to Port St.Lucie Florida for 23 years. She then spent 5 years in Hillsborough, NJ before moving to Chesterfield 3 months ago. Gloria was a graduate of Washington Irving High School in Manhattan, NY. Gloria was a retired seamstress. She loved cooking, gardening, and sewing, but most importantly she enjoyed spending quality time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Angiolina and Luigi Gatto and husband, Sergio Fava. Surviving are her loving son Robert and wife Sheila Fava of Chesterfield, NJ; and two cherished granddaughters, Brooke and Jordan. A viewing will be held on Friday, September 11, 2020 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home one Saturday, September 12, 2020 at 9am. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in Hawthorne, NY.
