George F. Haley 88 of Branchburg NJ passed away peacefully on Saturday February 16, 2019 at his home. He was born in Detroit Michigan then moved to New Jersey and lived in Branchburg for most of his life. He graduated from Somerville High School in 1949. He was a proud Veteran in the US Army in World War 2 and served several years before being honorably discharged in 1952. He worked as an Electrician and owned his business called B and G Electric in Branchburg before his retirement in 1995. He was a member of the American Rifle Association, Bee Keeper Association and was an amazing Boy Scout Leader. George enjoyed making and flying model airplanes, camping, hunting, fishing, gardening, honey and wine making. He loved to feed birds, cut wood for fireplace and fixing tools. He loved going to Maine and enjoyed staying in the cabin that he built. He loved to travel to Asian countries where he met his wife in Philippines. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Anna and Stephen Haley and a brother Jack Haley. Surviving is his beloved wife of 25 years Jullah Patalinghug Haley. Funeral services are private under the direction of the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 Branchburg NJ.
