George W. Gramer Jr. Bridgewater, NJ George W. Gramer Jr., 83, of Bridgewater NJ, passed away at his home on Friday June 12, 2015. Born and raised in Indianapolis IN, he resided in Ohio for 10 Years before moving to Bridgewater 49 years ago. Mr. Gramer attended Indiana University in Bloomington IN. His college career was interrupted when he volunteered to join the Air Force in support of the Korean War. He was stationed in Fairbanks, AK and Biloxi MS as a radar instructor for the pilots. After the war he returned to Indiana University where he completed his bachelor's degree in business. He was employed by Kaiser Aluminum for 20 years as a Regional Sales Manager. Later in his career he was the President of the International Trading Company and founder and President of Gramer and Associates Investment Company. Mr. Gramer was a Master Mason and Shriner with Walnut Hills Lodge #483 in Cincinnati, OH. George was the Vice President and co- founder of Bridgewater Baseball Inc (BBI). He was also a member and head usher of Bridgewater United Methodist Church for 49 years, where he served as a member of their finance committee and was instrumental in the funding of the church's expansion. George was an avid sports fan who enjoyed following the New York Yankees, Indianapolis Colts, and Indiana University sports. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents George Sr. and Katherine Paulsel Gramer, and one brother Gordon Gramer (2005). Surviving are his beloved wife of 62 years, Esther L. Warren Gramer of Bridgewater NJ; A dear son, Mark and his wife Linda Gramer of North East Maryland; two loving daughters, Ann and her husband Gary Wabuda of Branchburg NJ, and Joan Gramer of Bridgewater NJ, and five cherished grandchildren, Chris, Jessica, Kelly, William, and Matthew. Friends may greet the family on Friday June 19, 2015 from 6:00-9:00 PM and Saturday June 20, 2015 from 9 - 10 AM at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 RT 202 South, Branchburg NJ 08876. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday June 20, 2015 at 10:00 AM. A private entombment will follow at the Somerset Hills Memorial Park in Basking Ridge.
