Obituary

George Everson Branchburg, NJ George Everson, 73, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away Thursday, April 30, 2020 at his residence surrounded by loving family. Born in Elizabeth, NJ he resided in Edison for 10 years before relocating to Branchburg in 1994. George graduated from Saint Patrick's High School in 1965 after which he enrolled in the US Army and was stationed in Germany during the Vietnam era, receiving an honorable discharge in 1968. After his service in the Army, George graduated from Summa Cum Laude from Middlesex County College. George loved his career with Eastern Airlines where he met his beloved wife Joann at gate 42B. He went on to find success in computer programming, and at the time of his death was a criminal investigator for the Somerset County Courts. George was an avid collector of baseball memorabilia, he loved watching baseball and was a life-long Mets fan. He spent many summers with his family visiting the Jersey Shore. George loved to travel and one of his main passions throughout his life was visiting baseball stadiums across the country. He enjoyed spending quality time with his daughter and many nieces and nephews who loved him dearly. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Margaret and George Everson. Surviving are his loving wife of 32 years, Joann Ruzich Everson of Branchburg, a loving daughter Kylyn and her fiance Nicholas Regimbal of Somerville, NJ; a sister Diane Latham of Stroudsburg, PA, many loving nieces and nephews and his Japanese Chin companion, Bella.
