Gary Wabuda

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of Gary Wabuda, a beloved husband, father, and cherished member of the community. Gary departed this life on June 8, 2024 at the age of 68 leaving behind a legacy of love, generosity, and unforgettable memories.

Gary was the devoted husband of Ann for 35 years and the proud father of Chris, Jessie, and Kelly. His greatest joy in life was spending time with his family, creating treasured memories through their travels and shared experiences. Whether exploring new destinations or enjoying simple moments together, Gary's happiest times were those spent with his loved ones.

A passionate traveler, Gary had a zest for discovering new places and collecting unique sports memorabilia. He also had a keen interest in coin collecting, finding joy in the history and stories behind each piece. In his leisure time, Gary found relaxation by going to the shooting range, and his enthusiasm for real estate deals showcased his exceptional negotiation skills and love for business.

Gary was known for his kind and generous spirit. He made significant contributions to various causes, including funding scholarships for college students, supporting VARCA, an organization dedicated to helping individuals with Down syndrome, and providing countless meals to the homeless. Gary's heartwarming practice of always giving extra tips to waiters highlighted his appreciation for hard work and service.

Gary's generosity knew no bounds, and his impact on those around him was immeasurable. His kind soul and giving nature will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were fortunate enough to know him. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Lorraine and Joseph Wabuda and his brother Todd Wabuda.

A celebration of Gary's life will be held on Saturday, June 15, 2024 from 1-4pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home at 4pm.

Gary Wabuda's legacy of love, kindness, and generosity will continue to inspire us all. He will be forever remembered and deeply missed.
