Gary A. Christensen Branchburg, NJ Gary A. Christensen, 68, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 6, 2019 at his home. Born in Bayonne, NJ, he was a resident of Cranford for 12 years before moving to Branchburg 33 years ago. Mr. Christensen worked for Avaya Communications for many years as a District Manager before his retirement in 2009. Gary was an avid golfer and Gardner, he had a passion for woodworking, and spending quality time with his family at their beach house in Belmar, NJ. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Eleanor and John Christensen. Surviving are his loving wife of 45 years married, Denise Edmund Christensen; two wonderful sisters, Debbie and husband Thomas McGrew of Hunter Mountain, NY; and Donna McLoughlin of Spokane Washington; many cherished nieces and nephews; and his special K9 companion Mars. Viewing will be held Monday, March 11, 2019 from 5-9pm and Tuesday, March 12, 2019 from 10:30-11:30am with a prayer service beginning at 11:30am at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ, 08876.
