Frank J. Carpinelli, Sr.

Frank J. Carpinelli, Sr., 95, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Thursday, December 28, 2023 at RWJ Hospital in Somerville. Born in Jersey City, Frank resided in Bridgewater for 67 years.

Frank graduated from Dickerson High School. Shortly after, he went on to serve our country in the U.S. Navy from 1946 to 1948. Frank also served our country during WWII.

After his service, Frank began to work for Specialty Steel as a Sales Representative.

Frank was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Somerville Elks, and American Legion.

Frank loved to golf, swim and travel. He swam up into his 90s and traveled to 83 countries. Frank dedicated his life to his wife, Marguerite. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family especially his grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Catherine and Theodore Carpinelli, two sisters and a brother and his wife, Marguerite Carpinelli (2023).

Surviving are his dear son, Frank J. Carpinelli Jr. and wife Margaret of Easton, PA; his loving daughter, Lisa Romancheck of Roswell, GA; five grandchildren, Patrick Shaun, Meghen, Nicholas and Katharine and 3 great grandchildren, Evelyn, Nicholas Jr and Elizabeth.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 from 11am-1pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.

Entombment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater, NJ.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in Frank's memory to Somerville Elks – Somerset Children's Center or the Veteran Affairs.
