Françoise Huguette Jaramillo

Françoise H. Jaramillo of Whitehouse, NJ passed away on Monday, March 23,2026. She was 83. Born in Orbe Switzerland, Françoise came to the United States and resided in Whitehouse Station for 40 years.

After graduating high school in Switzerland, Françoise received her associate's degree in nursing in the US and went on to work for Saint Peter's University Hospital in New Brunswick.

During her free time, Françoise loved being outdoors. Whether it was tending to her beautiful garden, or hiking the Alps, she found a reason to be outdoors. She taught children to be active, playing tennis, swimming and even taught piano. Françoise enjoyed spending summers in Switzerland with her family and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Marguerite and Charles Fertig, and her sister, Danielle Fertig.

Surviving are her dear son, Max Jaramillo of Miami, FL; her loving daughter, Manuela Jaramillo of Miami, FL; her brother, Claude Fertig of Geneva, Switzerland; her sister, Alexandra Montini of Lausanne, Switzerland, her five cherished grandchildren, Gaitana, Karelia, Calista, Atticus, and Seneca, and her closest friend Anni Amend.
