Francesco "Frank"
Cirianni
Jul 28, 1951 — Mar 31, 2023
Francesco 'Frank' Cirianni, 71, of Raritan,NJ, passed away at his home on Friday, March 31st, 2023. Born in Sant'Onofrio, Italy, Frank immigrated to Bound Brook, NJ at age 11 and lived there until moving to Raritan, NJ in 1974.
Frank was known by all for his hard work ethic, meeting his wife, Mary Louise (Sylvester) at Mack Trucks. Frank continued to work hard throughout his professional career, culminating in his retirement from Harborside Healthcare in 2005.
A former member of the Teamsters, the UAW and a current member of the Somerville Eagles Club, Frank always prized helping his friends and co-workers however and whenever he could. When he wasn't helping others, he loved nothing more than playing practical jokes. When he tricked you into putting salt in your coffee instead of sugar, or had you thrown into the pool, it was done out of an abundance of love. As he put it, he was 'making memories'. Whether it was with his friends, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, cousins, his children or grandchildren – everyone was always made to feel welcome while sharing stories or conversation over a cup of coffee.
He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Rosa and Onofrio Cirianni and two brother in laws, Armond Sylvester and Antonio Figliano.
Frank is survived by his wife of 45 years, Mary Louise, his son John and wife Christina Cirianni of Readington, NJ; his daughter Rosemary Cirianni and her partner, Matt Papiez of Raritan, NJ; four brothers, Dominic and wife Sara Cirianni of Raritan, NJ; Ralph and wife Lina Cirianni of Raritan, NJ; Joe and wife Teresa Cirianni of Raritan, NJ; Tony Cirianni of Glen Gardner, NJ; two sisters, Teresa Figliano of Brooklyn, OH; Maria and husband Onofrio Fusca of Lansdale, PA; his brother and sister in law Carmen and Mary Jane Sylvester of South Plainfield, NJ many nieces and nephews and his three cherished grandchildren, Sofia, Grace, and Frankie.
A viewing will be held on Monday, April 3, 2023 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.
