Florence L. Haight Branchburg, NJ Florence Haight (Fabyanski), 84, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Friday, June 3, 2022 at Morristown Memorial Hospital. Florence has been a resident of New Jersey all of her life. Born to Leon and Mary Fabyanski in Jersey City and later residing in Wayne and Branchburg. Florence graduated from Synder High School, she then attended Pace College, majoring in Artistic Design. She worked for LaRoche as a Medical Secretary and later as a Real Estate Associate for Prudential NJ Properties staging many houses with her artistic flair. Florence loved fine dining and travel. Bermuda was one of her favorite places, and dining out in the newest restaurants was a favorite social pastime. Her interest in politics over the years led her to engage in passionate conversations with her friends and family. Florence will be remembered for her many creative talents. Her gourmet culinary skills and passion for good food was the center of her life. She engaged in a craft business endeavor, Kountry Kritters, selling and donating original and intricate artistic designs. The Holly Trail was one of her favorite events each year, she attended, participated, and volunteered her time and talents to masterfully beautify residences for viewing. Florence also volunteered many hours at various organizations within the community, including donating gourmet baked goods to local food pantries and churches, purchasing home goods and redesigning rooms for organizations housing homeless residents. As an animal advocate, she volunteered to socialize a puppy for the Seeing Eye Organization. Florence provided financial support for several community projects and was an avid donor to many charitable organizations. Florence will always be remembered as a dear friend to many and her kindness and loving actions will always remain alive in our hearts. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Leon and Mary Fabyanski, her daughter, Dana M. Haight (2008), two brothers, Joseph and Raymond Fabyanski and sister, Helen Sager. Surviving are her loving husband of 59 years, Robert E. Haight. A viewing will be held on Friday, June 10, 2022 from 8:30-10:00am at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Funeral mass will take place at Our Lady of Perpetual Help at 11am. Burial will follow at East Ridgelawn Cemetery in Clifton, NJ.
