Eugene X. Miller , 83, of Bridgewater, passed away on Monday, November 1, 2010 at his residence. Born in Jamaica, NY, he was a former resident of Mineola, NY before moving to Bridgewater 46 years ago. Eugene served in the United States Navy during World War II. Mr. Miller worked as a Sales Manager with Kraft Foods in Philadelphia, PA for 35 years, and then was President of Maid for You in Bridgewater for eight years, until retiring in 2002. Eugene was also an avid golfer. He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 58 years, Eileen Schreiner Miller, in 2002. Surviving are his three loving sons, Eugene Miller and wife, Diane of Whitehouse Station, Lawrence Miller and wife, Patricia of Bridgewater, and Michael Miller of Tarpon Springs, FL; his five cherished grandchildren, his five cherished great-grandchildren; and his dear sister, Kathleen Carmo of East Meadow, LI, NY. Funeral services will begin with a prayer at 8:45 AM on Thursday, November 4, 2010 at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 (908) 526-7638 followed by a 9:30 AM mass of Christian burial at Immaculate Conception R.C. Church, 35 Mountain Ave., Somerville. Interment will be in St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater. Viewing hours are Wednesday, November 3, 2010 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
