Ernesto Parisi Raritan, NJ Ernesto Parisi, 83, of Raritan, NJ, passed away on Friday, April 8, 2022 at his home surrounded by his loving family. Born in Palermo, Sicily Italy, Ernesto came to the United States in 1974. He resided in Brooklyn, NY for 19 years before moving to Raritan 28 years ago. Ernesto worked as a Porter Liftmann Attendant for 32 years. Mr. Parisi was a member of the Local 32 BJ in Manhattan, NY. He was an avid soccer player in Italy. Ernesto enjoyed playing cards, loved making wine and traveling to Italy. The one thing Ernesto enjoyed the most was spending quality time with his family especially his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Maria and Antonino Parisi, a brother Giuseppe Parisi and a sister Santa Arrigo. Surviving are his loving wife of 48 years, Rosa Baiada Parisi, one dear son, Anthony and wife Joyce Parisi of Piscataway, NJ; one loving daughter, Maria and husband Mariusz Durka of Whitehouse Station, NJ; two brothers, Ettore Parisi of Palermo, Italy and Achille and his wife Raffaella Parisi of Naples, Italy; one sister, Rosaria and husband Francesco Cambuca of Palermo, Italy; three cherished grandchildren, Brianna, Isabella, and Sofia and many loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, April 12, 2022 from 5-9pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Wednesday, April 13, 2022 at 9:15am. Funeral mass will take place at 10am at St. Ann's R.C. Church in Raritan, NJ. Burial will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery, Bridgewater, NJ. Memorial contributions may be made in Ernesto's memory to St. Judes children's hospital 501 St.Jude PL Memphis, TN 38105
