Ernest A. Tepedino , 92, died Thursday May 24, 2007, at the Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Brooklyn N.Y., he formerly resided in Howard Beach before moving to Branchburg 4 years ago. He was an upholsterer by trade. Ernest was a maintenance supervisor for Kings County Hospital in Brooklyn for twenty five years, before retiring in 1977. He was a third degree member of The Knights of Columbus Council Number 1073 in Brooklyn. He was preceded in death by his wife of thirty three years Catherine Bennett Tepedino in 1974. He was also preceded in death by his two sisters Jennie Lisa, and Millie Sellitto, and three brothers Vincent, Michael, and Joseph. Surviving are his loving sons, Francis X. and wife Susan of Branchburg, Joseph and wife Dolores of Pennsylvania, his loving grand children, Kathryn, Kristin, Joseph, Michael, and Jamie, his dear sister Elvera Castella of L. I., N. Y. and a brother Frank and wife Dolores of West Windsor, New York. Funeral services will begin Wednesday at 8:45am with a prayer at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg NJ, followed by a 9:30AM funeral liturgy at St. Bernards R.C. Church 500 Rt. 22 East, Bridgewater NJ. Internment will be in the Long Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale N.Y. Visitation hours are Tuesday 2-4 and 7-9PM at the funeral home.
