Ericho "Eric" DiPaolo

Ericho "Eric" DiPaolo, 85, of Raritan, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 13, 2018 at his home. Born in Somerville, NJ, he has been a lifelong resident of Raritan.
Eric was a veteran of the Korean War serving from 1953 until 1955 in the 11th Airborne Division and as a Military Police Officer. For most of his service, he was stationed in Fontainebleau, France where he met his wife Paulette.
Eric worked for the U.S. Defense Logistics Agency and retired in 1996 after 33 years of government service.
Eric loved painting with oils and watercolors, traveling to Europe with his wife, and spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him and will remain forever in our hearts.
He was predeceased by his beloved parents, Maria and Carmine DiPaolo; a son, Paul-Michel; three brothers, Carmine, Angelo, and Rocco; and a sister, Matilda Bamonte.
Surviving is his loving wife of 55 years, Paulette Blondel DiPaolo; three loving sons, Eric and wife Wanda of Burgaw, NC, Etienne and wife Dana of Hillsborough, NJ, and Eugene and wife Nathalie of Glenmoore, PA; his daughter, Annette DiPaolo of Berkeley Heights, NJ; his sister, Christine Berardi of York, SC; eleven cherished grandchildren, Dylan, Etienne, Brent, Tyler, Stephan, Andre, James, Alexandra, Nicholas, Jessica, and Brianna; and his great-grandson, Cayden.
A memorial visitation will be held on April 28 from 1pm to 4pm with a prayer service at 2:30 pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.
