Erich Rolf Siemon Branchburg, NJ Erich Rolf Siemon, 77, of Branchburg, NJ passed away peacefully on Monday, April 11, 2016. He was born in Orange, NJ and grew up in Maplewood, NJ with his twin brother, Karl H. Siemon and their parents, Erich Karl Siemon and Erna Kyewski. He graduated from Columbia High School in Maplewood before earning his B. S. degree in Business Administration from Rutgers University in 1960. Erich moved to Branchburg in 1970 where he built a home for his family. He worked as an accountant with Haskins and Sells and with Igoe Brothers in Newark, NJ. Later Erich became a general contractor and built three tracts of housing in Bucks County, PA and several custom homes in Branchburg, NJ. Erich was an avid gardener and spent his time in retirement maintaining his home and yard. He enjoyed sharing his knowledge and expertise, whether it was cooking, gardening, horse racing, or financial advice, with the people around him. He was a generous man who consistently put others' needs before his own and he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his parents, brother, and his son, Jonathan Siemon (1970). Surviving are his wife, Winifred Lopardo Siemon, sons, Erich F. Siemon of Bethesda MD, and Stefan Siemon of San Diego CA, and his daughter, Lynda Siemon of Soquel CA. The family will hold a graveside service, and a gathering of remembrance will be held at a later date. Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the charity of your choice.
