Eric Graff, 41, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Thursday, June 7, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital in New Brunswick, following an illness. Born in Massachusetts, and raised in New Jersey most of his life, Eric attended The Midland School in Branchburg, NJ where he received his high school diploma.
Eric had a vibrant smile, an infectious laugh, and a wonderful sense of humor. Eric showed his wit through jokes, and his impressions on life. He was very engaging and his humor was truly infectious. Eric had a way of connecting to those around him especially those who understood him the most.
Eric had a passion for music, video games, cats and coffee. He was able to express his opinions and his feelings openly without the fear of being judged. Eric accepted things for the way they were, even if it was hard. He had a tough exterior with a soft heart on the inside. Eric understood his challenges and faced them straight on. He was fiercely determined to fight through these life challenges. His presence, especially among those who loved him, will be greatly missed. We were all enriched by having the opportunity to know Eric.
He is preceded in death by his parents, David Graff and Katharine Gerlach Graff. Surviving is his brother, Kenneth Graff of Watertown, Massachusetts.
A memorial service will be held at The Midland School on June 26, 2018 at 4:30pm.
