Elizabeth "Ela" Szostek Flemington, NJ Elizabeth "Ela" Szostek, 61, of Flemington, NJ, passed away on Wednesday, June 29, 2022 at St. Barnabas Medical Center surrounded by her loving family. Born in Boleslawiec, Poland, Ela came to the United States in 1962. She then resided in Union, NJ for 15 years before moving to Flemington, NJ 24 years ago. Ela graduated from Union High School, Class of 1979. She went on to attend Fairleigh Dickinson University where she received her Associates Degree in Dental Hygiene. Ela worked as a Dental Hygienist for Pediatric Dentistry of Union for 20 plus years before her retirement in 2012. Elizabeth enjoyed cooking, crafting, shopping, doing crafts and photo albums. She loved to vacation and travel, especially at the Jersey Shore and Long Branch. Ela was an avid reader and never missed her children and grandchildren's soccer games. Her greatest passion was spending quality time with her family especially her grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her beloved father, Stanislaw Jarosz and her mother and father- in- law. Surviving are her loving husband of 40 years, Emil A. Szostek, her mother, Stanislawa Geslak Jarosz of Manville, NJ; one dear son, Robert and wife Erica Szostek of Narragansett, RI; one loving daughter, Kristina and husband Steven Migliore of Flemington, NJ; one sister, Renita and husband Mark Wukovits of Bridgewater, NJ; four cherished grandchildren, Chelsea, Harrison, Melina, Alaina, many nieces and nephews and a host of friends. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, July 5, 2022 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will be held at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 6, 2022 at 10am. Funeral mass will follow at St. Casimir Church at 11am in Newark, NJ. Committal is private.
