Elizabeth T. Ann Quade, 80 , of Branchburg NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, April 22, 2021 at Morristown Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elizabeth and John Tinsman and her beloved husband of 50 years, Arthur W (2013). Born in Easton PA, Elizabeth grew up in Washington, NJ where she attended Washington High School. Her musical talents flourished there, being selected to the NJ All State Chorus and National HS Chorus as a contralto. Elizabeth's passion for music took her to the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. After earning her Bachelor's Degree, she taught music in Plainfield, then Hampton Borough School District for over 20 years before becoming a Realtor for 30 years. Her love of music continued through her role as Choral Director at both Good Shephard Lutheran Church in Somerville and most recently, Living Waters Lutheran Church in Ringoes, NJ. She enjoyed her choir and it's members so much at Living Waters and they held a special place in her heart. Elizabeth served as mentor to numerous students, traveled frequently with her late husband, and enjoyed cheering on her grandchildren at their many sporting events. She loved spending time with her family and had home baked cookies in supply for all who needed them. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Surviving are her dear son, Arthur and his wife Kimberly of Branchburg, NJ; her loving daughter, Beth and her husband Ted Sharpless of Emmaus, PA; her brother Richard and his wife Jan Tinsman of Lake City FL; four cherished grandchildren: Arthur James (AJ), Nolan, Naomi, and Jeremy in addition to many nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held Thursday, April 29, 2021 from 4-8 pm with a prayer service at 7:30 pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.
