Elizabeth M. Baumbusch

Elizabeth M. Baumbusch, 82, of Hillsborough, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, May 13, 2025, at her home surrounded by her loving family. Born in Montclair, NJ, Elizabeth, known as Betty, resided in Bloomfield, where she attended Bloomfield High School and graduated from the class of 1960. She spent half her life here before moving to Hillsborough 40 years ago.

Betty was a long-time member of the SSC. She enjoyed gardening, but her true passion was cleaning! Most importantly, she lived her life for her family, especially her grandchildren. She had a radiant smile for all and would chat with everyone.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Bertha and Emil Zilly, her dear son, Stephen Baumbusch, and her cherished grandson, Zachary Heuple.

Surviving are her devoted husband of 60 years, Peter Baumbusch, her loving daughters, Laurie and husband Michael Heuple, Colette Baumbusch, and three adored grandchildren, Ryan, Colton, and Alexandra.

Committal is private.
