Obituary

Eleanor A. Margentino Bridgewater, NJ Eleanor A. Margentino, 84, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, November 30, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital Somerville. She was born in Bridgewater, and has resided there for her entire life. Eleanor was a volunteer and leader for Somerset County 4H for over 10 years, served as a Judge for the Singer Sewing Competition, and was a course decorator for the 1993 World Pairs Carriage Driving Championship at the United States Equestrian Team Headquarters in Gladstone. Eleanor was an avid sewer, enjoyed going to her daughters' horse show competitions, was extremely artistic, loved roller skating, and was known for making extravagant Halloween costumes every year. She also enjoyed going to Lake Hopatcong and being out on her family's boat, and loved her Dalmatian dogs, Michael, Molly, and Mazie. She will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, and her loving husband of 31 years, Walter J. Margentino (1986), and her sister, Goldie Till. Surviving are her three loving daughters, Margie and husband Larry Dry of Ripley, OK, Nancy and husband Philip DiBetta of Bridgewater, NJ, and Christine and husband Orlando Macario of Raritan, NJ; three cherished grandchildren, Adam, Drew, and Victoria; and her great-grandchildren, Alysa, Kim, and Alisa.
