Eileen Mae Lubben Dunn
February 21, 1936 – July 10, 2025
Eileen Mae Lubben Dunn, beloved mother, grandmother, and friend, passed away peacefully on July 10, 2025, at the age of 89.
Born on February 21, 1936, Eileen grew up in Pennsylvania before moving to New Jersey, where she spent most of her life. She graduated from Bergenfield High School, where she proudly served as drum majorette.
She was a selfless, kind, and loving person who devoted herself to her family and lived her faith every day. Eileen worked as a dedicated unit secretary at Englewood Hospital in Englewood, NJ, and later as an operating room coordinator at Bayshore Hospital in Holmdel, NJ, where she was known for her caring nature, organizational skills, and dependable presence.
Though she faced many struggles throughout her life, Eileen never lost her trust in God. Her unwavering faith carried her through difficult times, and in the end, as the beloved Footprints poem reminds us, He carried her home to heaven.
Eileen was predeceased by her father, John Lubben, and her mother, Rose Lasher Patterson.
She is survived by her three devoted daughters: Patti Dunn Scala, KellyAnne Kelly and her husband Bill Kelly, and Maureen Nicoletti and her husband Joe Nicoletti. She was the proud and cherished grandmother of Daniel Scala, Sean Scala, Christina Nicoletti, and Joe Nicoletti, who brought her immense joy and pride.
She will be remembered for her warm heart, her quiet strength, and the way she made everyone feel welcome and loved. Her legacy of love, faith, and grace lives on in her family and all who knew her.
A funeral service to honor Eileen's life will be held on Tuesday, July 15, 2025, at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US-202 South, Branchburg, New Jersey 08876, with visitation from 3:00–7:00 PM with a service starting at 3:00 PM.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly requests that donations be made to the American Heart Association in her memory.
