Edwin B. Hardy, 84, Branchburg, NJ, passed away on Monday, November 17, 2025 at Hunterdon Medical Center. Born in Bronx, NY, Edwin moved to Branchburg 29 years ago.

After graduating high school, Ed joined the Marine Corp from 1959-1965.

Edwin worked for L.E. Carpenters, a vinyl textile company 24 years and worked for Jefferson Township School as a custodian for 20 years.

During his free time, Ed enjoyed watching the Jets, Mets, playing golf and going to the gym. He loved traveling to the Jersey Shore and Florida with his family. In his younger years, Ed and his wife Noreen were on the same bowling team where they bowled every Friday and never missed. Most importantly, Ed enjoyed spending quality time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Marjorie and Edwin B. Hardy and his sister, Susan McGloin

Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Noreen Hardy, two dear sons, Edwin and Davin Hardy, his brother, Christopher and wife Patricia Hardy, and his sister, Kerrie Peterson and significant other Bob Karwan.
