Edward Partilla Sr. Bridgewater, NJ Edward Partilla Sr, 87, passed away peacefully on Friday, January 10, 2020 at Laurel Circle in Bridgewater, NJ. Born in Elizabeth, NJ, lived his childhood in Roselle Park, but resided in Bridgewater for most of his life before moving to Branchburg 9 years ago. Edward was an active parishioner at St. Bernard R.C. Church. He was the owner of Riverview Pools along with his wife Catherine for 35 years and in the swimming pool business for over 50 years. Mr. Partilla was an avid golfer, loved football, especially the Giants! He loved boating and spent many weekends flounder fishing. He always loved road trips, especially to casinos and New England. Edward loved traveling to Florida and spending time on the golf course at The Villages. He was a long time member of the Elks, a former North Branch Fireman and a member of the bereavement group which he loved attending. He was a huge animal lover, especially his cat Sparky, who passed away only six months ago at age 18. Spending quality time with his family is what he cherished the most. He is predeceased by his beloved parents John and Mary Partilla, his loving wife Catherine Partilla of 53 years and his daughter Susan Brown. Surviving are his daughter Victoria Partilla of Whitehouse Station, NJ; a son Edward Partilla Jr of Brick, NJ; a brother Jack Partilla and his wife TD of Long Island, NY; a granddaughter Marilyn and her husband Tom Madigan and an adored great granddaughter Leah. A viewing will be held on Tuesday, January 14, 2020 from 2pm - 4pm & 6pm - 8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. Funeral services will start with a prayer at the funeral home at 9:15am on Wednesday, January 15, 2020 followed by a funeral mass at 10am at St. Bernard R.C. Church.
