Edward Gabrish, 53, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Saturday, July 10, 2021 at Mountainside Hospital. Born in Somerville, NJ, Eddy resided in Glen Gardner before moving recently back to the Bridgewater area. Eddy graduated from Bridgewater Raritan High School (West), Class of 1985. Eddy worked as a plumber for several companies throughout his career, most recently as General Manager for Schaible's Plumbing & Heating in Hampton, NJ. Eddy loved music, and never missed an opportunity to attend the M3 Rock Festival or take his kids on a Monsters of Rock cruise to share his love of heavy metal. He was a talented musician and played the bass in various local bands. He enjoyed golf and riding motorcycles. He loved to travel, meet new people, go on adventures and he was the life of every party. He was great at bringing family and friends together and would do anything for anyone. Eddy was an incredible father and loved spending time with his children. Riding motorcycles with Tyler and watching Noelle excel at field hockey – he was so proud to be their dad. He is preceded in death by his father, Edward Gabrish (2009). Surviving are beloved mother, Shirley Gabrish of Raritan, NJ; one dear son, Tyler Gabrish of Califon, NJ; a loving daughter, Noelle Gabrish of Califon, NJ; his loving fiancé, Tricia Gann of North Caldwell, NJ and her children Ryan and Amanda Conway of North Caldwell, NJ; one brother, James and his wife Colleen Gabrish of Hillsborough, NJ; a niece Natalie and nephew Owen, and his canine companion, Hank. A viewing will be held on Friday, July 16, 2021 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Saturday, July 17, 2021 at 9:15am. A funeral mass will follow at 10am at St. Ann's R.C. Church, Raritan, NJ. Committal is private.
