Douglas R. Hendry, 71, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away peacefully February 20, 2025, at his home. Born and raised in Somerville, NJ Douglas later moved to Branchburg, where he resided for 38 years.

Upon high school graduation, Douglas later started his own company Hendry Construction where he was a self-employed General Contractor for years.

As an avid lover of motorcycles, Doug loved to ride his Harley Davidsons all around North America. In his free time, he enjoyed spending quality time with his children, and grandchildren. He was a lover of the Florida Keys, and his dogs Mr. Riley, Olive, and Lucy.

Doug is preceded in death by his beloved parents Winifred Wall and James Hendry, his loving wife Louise A. Hendry, his brother David Hendry, and his sisters Mary Elmore and Carol Elmore.

Surviving are his dear son Douglas and wife Tiffany Hendry, his loving daughter Erica L. Hendry, his siblings James Hendry, and June Brown, and two loving grandchildren Brooklyn Louise Hendry, and Jackson James Hendry.

A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, February 26, 2025 from 2:00 pm- 6:00 pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg NJ 08876. Committal is private.
