Donna Marie Amodeo

Donna Marie Amodeo nee Belizzone, 68, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at the Hospital of The University of Pennsylvania. Born in Flemington, NJ, Donna moved to Bridgewater over 60 years ago. Upon graduating High School, Donna went to continue her education at secretarial school. She started a prestigious sales representative company alongside her husband Salvatore. She was beautiful on the inside and out. Donna was someone you could always count on. She had the kindest, most generous heart.

A devoted and deeply loving mom, Donna cherished her family and friends more than anything. Her children and granddaughters were her everything. She was the best mom and grandma. Tradition meant everything to Donna. These traditions are instilled within her family and carried on. She enjoyed cooking meals for others and baking with her granddaughters. Each granddaughter has an immense amount of memories to look back on with her. Donna was proud of them and enjoyed cheering them on at their sport events and dance recitals. She also cherished her sweet dog, Roxi who was a loyal companion and snuggler.

Most importantly, Donna enjoyed spending quality time with her family and friends and everyone loved being around her. Donna enjoyed taking trips to Aruba, visiting the Borgata and her home in Florida with her family and friends. In her free time, she enjoyed exercising, shopping, gardening, reading a good book, visiting the beach or spending time poolside and taking care of the birds that would visit her home.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Josephine "Jo" and Ronald Belizzone, and her husband, Salvatore G. Amodeo whom she missed immensely.

Surviving are her loving daughter Danielle (Amodeo) and husband Ed Caulfield of Bridgewater, NJ; her dear son, Peter Amodeo of Bridgewater, NJ; her sister, Michele Natale of Branchburg, NJ; her brother, Tom Belizzone and wife Jodi of Branchburg, NJ; sister in laws, Giuseppa and husband Rosario Balliro of Bridgewater, NJ; Margherita, Angela, and Gaetana of Sicily; two adored granddaughters, Marisa and Eliana and nieces, nephews and a group of friends that were like family to her.

Friends and family are to gather at St. Ann's R.C. Church on Monday, January 19, 2026 for a mass beginning at 11am, 45 Anderson Street, Raritan, NJ 08869. Committal is private.
