Dolores Ann Agnes Ney, 84, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family on Saturday, January 4, 2020. Born in Shamokin, PA, she resided in Elizabeth, NJ for 45 years. After spending some time back home in PA and NJ, she moved to Nashville, TN for 10 years. Seven months ago, she moved to Branchburg, NJ. Dolores graduated from Pottsville Nursing School in PA and worked for over 40 years as a Registered Nurse, including time at Elizabeth General Hospital, Elizabeth Manor Nursing Home, and the Elizabeth Public Health Department at Sts. Peter and Paul School before her retirement. Dolores had a love for dogs, listening to country music, especially Blake Shelton and Luke Jackson, enjoyed cryptoquotes, and spending quality time with her family… especially her cherished grandchildren. She was also a Tennessee Titans fan. She is preceded in death by her beloved parents Ann and Florian Olszewski and her three brothers, Florian, Daniel, and Albert. Surviving are her four dear sons, Paul of Nashville, TN, Daniel of Elizabeth, NJ, Thomas and wife Claudia of West Milford, NJ, and Steven and wife Carole of Branchburg, NJ; her loving sister, Marian Soubik of Coal Township, PA; four beloved grandchildren, Michael, Annie, Jessica, and Samantha; and her faithful rescue dog, Sonny. Viewing will be held Saturday, January 11, 2020 from 10am-12pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at 10am.
