Dennis E. Salko Hillsborough, NJ Dennis Salko, 69, of Hillsborough, NJ, passed away at his home on Saturday, November 14, 2020. Born in Hazelton, PA, Dennis resided in Raritan for 30 years before moving to Hillsborough 7 years ago. Dennis graduated from B.R.H.S West in 1969. After graduating High School, Dennis went on to graduate from Kean University receiving his Bachelor's Degree in English. Dennis worked for FDIC as an examiner for 25 years before his retirement in 2017. Dennis was an avid Mets and Giants fan. He liked to play golf, enjoyed going to the Outer Banks, Poconos, and traveling around following the Mets. Dennis also enjoyed going out to dinners and enjoyed a nice cold beer and a shot of Johnnie Walker. Most importantly, he enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Jean and Elmer Salko, and a brother Mark Salko. Surviving are his dear son Christopher Salko of Brooklyn, NY; two loving daughters, Michele and husband Ryan Walsh of Lake Hopatcong, NJ; Marybeth and husband Ricky Wager of Neshanic Station, NJ; one brothers, Allan "Pete" Salko of Branchburg, NJ; and four cherished grandchildren, Caleb, Chloe, Carter, Benjamin. A viewing will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020 from 4-7pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ. A prayer service will take place at the funeral home on November 19, 2020 at 6:30pm. Burial will take place on Friday, November 20, 2020 at 12:45pm at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Bridgewater, NJ.
