Daniel D. Santos , 33, passed away on Friday, March 14, 2014. Born and raised in Newark and a thirteen year resident of Bridgewater, he also lived in Manville for four years before moving to Asbury a year ago. Mr. Santos worked in construction and was a member of Local #472 in Newark. Daniel cherished spending time with his son, Levi, and his family. He was a very outgoing person and a friend to all. Daniel was always willing to help everyone. Daniel loved Mustangs, especially working on them. He also enjoyed hunting and freshwater fishing. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Celeste and Levi Tendeiro and his paternal grandmother, Dalila Santos. Surviving are his beloved parents, Manuel and Aida Tendeiro Santos of Asbury; his cherished son, Levi Nicholas of Bridgewater; his dear sister, Michelle Santos of Martinsville; his beloved fiancé, Lauren Auriema of Bridgewater; his niece Micaela Santos-McDarby; his paternal grandfather, Manuel Santos in Portugal; and several aunts, uncles, and cousins. Funeral services will begin with a prayer at 9:15 AM on Tuesday, March 18, 2014 at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 (908) 526-7638 followed by a 10 AM Funeral Liturgy at St. Bernard R.C. Church, 500 Route 22 East, Bridgewater. Entombment will be in St. Bernard Mausoleum, Route 28, Bridgewater. Visitation hours are Monday, March 17, 2014 from 4 to 8 PM at the funeral home.
