Daniel J. Carr , 69, passed away on Monday, January 7, 2013 at Somerset Medical Center in Somerville. Born in Albany, NY, he resided in Branchburg for thirty years before moving to Texas and then to Flemington six years ago. Mr. Carr was the co-owner of Foolish Fox Tavern. He was an avid fisherman and NY Giants fan. He enjoyed spending quality time with his family, especially his grandchildren. Daniel was preceded in death by his parents Wilfred and Carol Keegan Carr. Surviving are his wife, Margaret Carr; his five children, AnnMarie Carr of Hillsborough; Derrick Carr of Tampa, FL; Matthew Carr and his wife, Emily of Flemington; Rory Carr of Hillsborough; and Daniel Carr and his wife, Teresa of Baltimore, MD; his six grandchildren; and his brother, Ron Carr and his wife, Judy of Knoxville, TN. Funeral services will begin at 9:15 AM with a prayer on Saturday, January 12, 2013 at Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 (908) 526-7638 followed by a 10 AM funeral liturgy at St. Bernard R.C. Church, Bridgewater. Viewing hours are Friday, January 11, 2013 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 PM at the funeral home.
