Cynthia J. Behling, 55, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Saturday, March 8, 2025 at RWJ Hospital in Somerville surrounded by her loving family. Born in Plainfield, NJ, Cynthia resided in Rosemont before settling in Bridgewater.

A graduate of Hunterdon Central Regional High School, Cynthia went on to work as a conductor at NJ Transit.

During her free time, Cynthia enjoyed camping, playing bingo, and doing art & crafts. She also loved going to Flea Markets and going for walks. Cynthia and her Golden Girls, friends for 40 plus years always had their girl's night out. The life of any party, Cynthia was the person to be around.

Most importantly, she enjoyed spending quality time with her family especially her husband, stepdaughter, nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by her mother, Karen VanAllen, grandparents, Amelia Van Allen and George T. Van Allen, and her aunt, Kathy Smith.

Surviving are her loving husband, Richard Behling, her father, Robert North, her sister, Krista and husband Eric Bentzinger of Milford, NJ; her father in law, Robert Behling of NC; two brother in laws, Robert Behling, Jr. of Bridgewater, NJ; Richard and wife Celeste Price of NC; her stepdaughter, Nicole Behling and her children, Jayden and Bianca of Phillipsburg, NJ; nieces, Michelle, Lynn, Rachel, and Lily, and her nephews, Richy, Jaime, Timothy and Hunter, and many aunts and uncles, and her furbabies, Oreo, Bailey, Tinkerbell, Clarabell, and Tacobell.

A viewing will be held on Thursday, March 13, 2025 from 3-7pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home, 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876 with a prayer service starting at 6:30pm.

Prayers will begin at the funeral home on Friday, March 14, 2025 at 9:45am. Mass will follow at 11am at Evangel Chapel, 505 NJ-28 Bridgewater, NJ 08807.
