Craig G. Lorentzen Bridgewater, NJ Craig G. Lorentzen, 69, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away on Sunday, September 23, 2018 at his home, surrounded by his loving family. Born in Perth Amboy, NJ, he was a resident of Branchburg before moving to Bridgewater 36 years ago. Craig worked for Local 9 in Englishtown, NJ, as a welder for 37 years before his retirement in 2010. Craig was always involved in his children's activities and sports, a tradition carried on with his grandsons' soccer matches, which he truly loved, never missing a game. He was an avid North Carolina Tar Heels Basketball fan, eagerly awaiting "March Madness" every spring. Craig loved spending quality time with his family especially his grandchildren, and vacationing at the Outer Banks and the Jersey Shore. Craig was always there to help anyone in need. He had a tremendous heart and he will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his loving parents, Helen and Herbert Lorentzen. Surviving are his beloved wife of 45 years, Marilyn Kerekes Lorentzen; his dear son, Justin of Bridgewater, N.J.; his loving daughter, Jennie and husband Jason Araya of Bridgewater, N.J.; and his three cherished grandchildren, Jason, Jacob, and Jaclyn. He also leaves behind his loyal brother Wayne Lorentzen and his wife Karen; a brother-in-law and many adored cousins, nephews, and nieces. A memorial visitation will be held Tuesday, October 2, 2018 from 6-9pm with a prayer service at 8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.
