Conceição "Connie" Melo Cirne

January 3, 1960 – May 24, 2026

Conceição "Connie" Melo Cirne, 66, of Branchburg, passed away suddenly, leaving behind a family and community who loved her deeply.

Born in São Miguel, Azores, Portugal, Connie carried with her the warmth, faith, and traditions of her homeland throughout her life. She was known for her strong presence, her love of conversation, and the deep pride she had in her family. Above all, she lived a life rooted in love, faith, and devotion to those closest to her.

Connie married her high school sweetheart and lifelong love, Manuel "Manny" Cirne, and together they built a life centered on family and faith. Their bond was one of enduring commitment and partnership through every season of life.

She is survived by her husband, Manny; her daughters, Michelle Cirne and Vanessa Green; her son-in-law, Edward Green; and her grandson, Noah Green, who was the light of her life. She is also survived by her sister, Lourdes Melo, and brother Gary Melo.

She was preceded in death by her father, Manuel Melo; her mother, Conceição Melo; her sister, Grace Diogo; and her brother, Manuel Melo.

A faithful servant in her community, Connie dedicated many years as a CCD teacher at Blessed Sacrament Church, where she shared her faith with children and families. Her faith was central to her life and guided the way she loved, taught, and cared for others.

Connie will be remembered for her love of family, her strong presence in every room she entered, her devotion to her grandson Noah, and her unwavering faith in God. Her voice, her laughter, and her love will be deeply missed.

We take comfort in knowing she is now at peace in God's presence. Her love, faith, and legacy will continue to live on through her family and all who were blessed to know her.

A funeral mass will take place on Saturday, May 30, 2026 at 10am at Blessed Sacrament Church 1890 Washington Valley Rd, Martinsville, NJ 08836.
