Clifford Bernard Jorgensen

Clifford Bernard Jorgensen, 82, of Branchburg, NJ, passed into the kingdom of heaven on June 27, 2019. He was born in Clifton, New Jersey on December 14, 1936. Clifford is predeceased by his parents Clifford Jorgensen and Genevieve Tyson Jorgensen and his younger siblings Katherine Pallay and Al Jorgensen.
He grew up in Bloomfield, New Jersey and eventually moved to Bound Brook, where he attended high school and enjoyed playing on their football team. He continued to work his way through college at Rider University and graduated with a master's degree in Education, which lead him to a life dedicated to teaching children in the Flemington-Raritan School district for 30 years. At the same time, he worked at Weichert Realtors in Hillsborough for 30 years. Cliff whole heartedly gave much of his time to Camp Isabel as camp director for many years, always an advocate for the betterment of children. Cliff was a proud member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Church where he enjoyed participating in various church ministries.
Clifford leaves behind his loving wife Joan Ganim Jorgensen of 53 years. His daughters Katherine Kosinski and husband John, and Leslie Creter and husband Richard. He will be greatly missed by his seven adoring grandchildren, Elyse, Leah, John, Julia, Kayla, Christy, and Sean; and his brother, Richard Jorgensen.
Viewing will be held Sunday, June 30, 2019 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.
Funeral services will begin with a prayer at the funeral home at 10:15am on Monday, July 1, 2019 followed by an 11am funeral liturgy at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton R.C. Church in Three Bridges, NJ.
Burial will follow at St. Magdalen's Cemetery in Flemington, NJ.
