Clara M. Patino

Clara M. Patino, 88, of Raritan, NJ, passed away on Tuesday, August 13, 2024 at Bridgeway Care. Born in Santiago, Cuba, Clara came to the United States in 1969. She raised her family together with her husband in Elizabeth NJ. She then settled in Monroe Township for 10 years before moving to Raritan, NJ.

Clara worked for Interbaked Food Services in Elizabeth, NJ for 15 years as a line worker.

During her free time, Clara enjoyed cooking for her family especially for her late husband, watching her Novellas and playing the lottery. She particularly enjoyed scratch offs. Most importantly, she loved spending quality time with her family including her grandchildren and great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Rafael Patino (2014), her son, Rafael Jr. (2022), her parents, Carmen and Vincent Rodriquez, a brother and two sisters.

Surviving are her dear son, Richard V. and wife Noami Patino of Fords, NJ; two loving daughters, Griselda and husband Jesus Montalvo of Orlando, FL; Dolores and husband Kenneth Sliker of Raritan, NJ; seven cherished grandchildren, Yamel, Miguel, Natasha, Breann, Kenneth, Mya, Elijah and four adored great grandchildren, Chloe, Caroline, Kayla, and Christian.

Services will be private.
