Chui Chan Ng, 85, of Flushing, NY, passed away on Monday, March 8, 2021 at Sapphire center for Rehabilitation. Born in Kaiping, Guongdong Province of China, Chui moved to Hong Kong and afterwards came to the United States in 1968 with her husband and 2 children. She resided in the Bronx NY, and then Fair Lawn, NJ for 11 years, Houston, TX for 17 years, Berkeley Heights for 5 years, Neshanic Station for 5 years before residing in Flushing, NY 7 years ago.
Chui was the former owner/operator for Chinese Laundry from 1970-1981 and became a restauranter with her husband Sui Woo Ng.
Chui loved to cook and tending to her vegetable garden. Her greatest passion in life was spending quality time with her family especially her grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her beloved mother, and father Tam Sze Ngon.
Surviving are her loving daughter, Sau and husband Joseph Senate of Neshanic Station, NJ; a dear son, Ka and wife Wei Ng of Queens, NY; five cherished grandchildren, Alana, Madeline, Matthew, Audrey, and Kevin and many loving nieces and nephews.
A viewing will be held on Wednesday March 17, 2021 from 5-9 pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 RT. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A viewing will also take place on Thursday, March 18, 2021 beginning at 10am-11am at the Branchburg Funeral Home. Burial will follow at St. Bernard's Cemetery in Bridgewater, NJ.
