Chester "Chet" Lukas Bridgewater, NJ Chester "Chet" Lukas, 91, of Bridgewater, NJ passed away peacefully into his heavenly father's arms on Tuesday, February 13,2018. Family and friends may visit at the Branchburg Funeral Home in Branchburg, NJ on Sunday February 18,2018 from 2-4pm. Mass will be celebrated at St. Ann's Church in Raritan NJ on Monday February 19,2018 at 10am. Chet was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, great grandfather, brother, and uncle. He was born on February 26,1926 in Scranton, PA, one of four sons of Kathryn and Anthony Luchowski. He attended Scranton Highschool and afterwards entered the U.S. Army where he fought for our country and was awarded a Purple Heart. After the war he entered Scranton University and graduated with a business degree. He later obtained his Master's at Rutgers. Chet married his loving wife, Ann Marie, and they moved to NJ where they had three children. Chet initially worked as an accountant but his true passion was teaching. He was a professor in the business department at Middlesex Community College for almost 30 years and impacted many young lives. Chet was an avid golfer, and adventurous traveler, loved to ski and to bicycle. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Kathryn Baryla and Anthony Luchowski and his three-dear brothers, Frank, George, and Joseph. Chet is survived by his loving wife, Ann Marie and their three children, Diane Mustra and spouse Joe of Mineral, VA; Karen Feehan and spouse Tom of East Windsor, NJ; and David Lukas of Bridgewater, NJ. He was especially fond of his grandchildren, Deanna, Warren, Candice, Brynn, Nicole, Lisa, and Tina and his greatgrandchildren, Logan, Austin, Colton, Maddee, and Stormy.
