Charles W. Hartman Bridgewater, NJ Charlie (Butch) Hartman, 79, of Bridgewater, NJ, passed away at home on Monday, May 2, 2022.He was born in Altoona, PA, and has resided in Bridgewater for the last 54 years with his loving wife. Charlie graduated from Bound Brook High School, Class of 1961. He worked for Ortho Clinical Diagnostics as a RhoGAM Manufacturing Technician for 30 plus years before his retirement in 2004. Charlie loved being outdoors. He was a handyman at heart and could always be found with his toolbelt on. Whether it was building an addition on his home, renovation projects for family and friends or building sheds and playhouses for his children and grandchildren. He loved vacationing every year at the Jersey Shore in Wildwood with his family. He also played guitar in the church choir. The one thing Charlie enjoyed the most was spending quality time with his family especially his grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents, Mary and Herbert Hartman, his mother and father in law, Edna and Adam Soldivieri, a brother in law, Joseph Lloyd and a sister in law, MaryLou Hartman. Surviving are his loving wife of 59 years, Edna Soldivieri Hartman, his dear son, Charles "Butch" and wife Daria Hartman of Monmouth Junction, NJ; two loving daughters, Antoinette "Toni" and husband Chuck Goodyear of Whitehouse Station, NJ; Lisa and husband Steve Grace of Branchburg, NJ; three brothers, Herb and Ruth Hartman of Weeki Wachee, FL; Bill and wife Sara Jane Hartman of Peyton, CO; Daniel "Pat" and wife Mary Hartman of Elizabeth, CO; one sister, Dorothy "Dot" Lloyd of Harrisburg, PA; six granddaughters, Jenna, Rebecca "Becky", Amanda, Meghan, Lauren, Brianna, a brother in law, Nick and wife Susan Soldivieri of Bridgewater, NJ; and many loving nieces and nephews. A viewing will be held on Monday, May 9, 2022 from 4-8pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South Branchburg, NJ 08876. A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Tuesday, May 10, 2022 at 9:15am. A funeral mass will follow at 10am at Holy Trinity Church in Bridgewater, NJ. Committal is private.
