Cathy "Kit" Carson

Cathy "Kit" Carson, 80, of Warren, NJ, passed away on July 25, 2026, at Mira Vie Nursing Home.

Cathy was born on January 31, 1946. She attended Montclair State University, where she met her husband, Robert, and they were married for 50 years prior to his passing in 2019.

Cathy worked for over 35 years at Verizon, where she won numerous awards for her service. Cathy had a very trying life, working full time and taking care of her husband, who suffered a very serious brain stem stroke at 42 years old, but Cathy never complained. She wouldn't complain if she were on fire. Just the kind of loving and caring person she was.

Cathy took great joy in her furry friends, always having two or more companions at a time. She will be missed by all who knew her. Let's hope there are dogs in heaven.

We will never forget how Cathy's face would light up when she saw friends and loved ones. She will be missed!
