Catalina R.
Gregoire
Nov 24, 1939 — Nov 27, 2022
Catalina Gregoire
Branchburg, NJ
Catalina Rafanan Gregoire "Lola", and "Lady Catalina" 83, entered into eternal rest on Sunday-November 27, 2022. Born in 1939 in Pangasinan, Philippines-Catalina was the eldest daughter of 12 siblings. She last resided in Branchburg, NJ.
In 1969 at NCO Clark AFB Chapel, she married Air Force Msgt. Gerard Gregoire- They moved to America in 1970 and raised their growing family throughout a variety of states in the US.
Catalina was such an incredibly graceful person: devoted wife/mother/and friend who daily demonstrated her faith and made all who knew her feel loved and welcome. She LOVED to cook and made sure everyone was well fed with her signature Filipino dishes: puncit, lumpia, chicken adobo and more. She was quite the hospitable hostess because she was a tremendously generous person. She leaves behind a profound legacy of love and faithfulness in God.
She was a fierce believer, a fervent prayer warrior, and an avid lover of scriptures. She impressively memorized multiple Bible scriptures that she used for encouragement and guidance to all in her many years of ministry. She was an amazing singer and was often heard singing hymns while cooking and cleaning in the kitchen or standing before congregations of people. We are truly blessed and beyond grateful to have had her touch our lives so deeply. We take comfort in knowing she is with our Lord in eternal peace in heaven. Mom, we love you and we will miss you. We shall be together again- as heaven is a family reunion.
She is survived by her loving husband of over 53 years, Rev. Gerard W Gregoire, her beloved children: Paul Gregoire (Cheryl) of Lexington, KY; Mark Gregoire of Christopher, IL; Delia Quinn (Sean) of Fanwood; Theresa Peloquin (Joseph) of Colonia, NJ; Maria Cunniffe (Peter) of Bloomfield, NJ and Catherine Lacy (Paul) of Minnesota. She also leaves behind several grandchildren including: Nicole & Dana Gregoire, Grant Carter (pre-deceased 2020) & Beckham Quinn, Ryan & Declan Cunniffe, Jaxon, Reece and Bryce Peloquin any many great grandchildren.
