Carmel Lucille Bean Middlesex, NJ Carmel Lucille Bean, 70, of Middlesex, NJ, passed away peacefully on Friday, April 23, 2021 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital Somerset. Born in Summit, NJ on July 16, 1950 to her late parents Geraldine and Dominick Zarro, she was a resident of South Bound Brook and Branchburg before moving to Middlesex 14 years ago. Carmel was fond of birds, but most particularly Cardinals. She enjoyed playing the lottery, crocheting, drawing with her grandchildren, had a special bond with her two cats, Sandy and Ralph, and spending quality time with her family especially her grandchildren. She will be missed tremendously by all who knew and loved her. She is preceded in death by her former husband, Albert (2003). Surviving are her two loving daughters, Patricia and husband Joseph Daly of Bartlett, TN, and Donna and husband David Wineland of Middlesex, NJ; her dear brother, Albert and wife Maryann Zarro of Neshanic Station, NJ; five cherished grandchildren, Marissa, Michael, Megan, Tiffany, and Myranda; her significant other of 16 years, Alex Tobias Jr; and many adored, nieces and nephews. Viewing will be held Sunday, May 2, 2021 from 1-5pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Funeral services will start with a prayer at the funeral home at 9:15am on Monday May 3, 2021 followed by a 10:00am funeral liturgy at Holy Trinity R.C. Church in Bridgewater. Interment will follow at St. Bernard Cemetery in Bridgewater. Memorial contributions may be made in her memory to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
