Brenda Gieda

Brenda Gieda, 55, of Stewartsville, NJ, passed away on Saturday, December 17, 2022 at Bayshore Medical Center. Born in Somerville, NJ, Brenda spent most of her life in Bridgewater before moving to Hazlet.

Brenda graduated from Bridgewater High School West, Class of 1985. She worked as a caregiver for Wee People Nursery School in Bound Brook before retiring in 2019.

Brenda loved spending time at the Jersey Shore especially Ocean Beach where she enjoyed spending quality time with her family. Brenda had a great love for animals, including her dog Sunshine and her cat Magic.

She is preceded in death by her beloved parents, Shirley and John Gieda and her brother, Kenneth Sarte.

Surviving are her three dear brothers, Wayne and wife Diane Sarte of PA; Ricky Maselli and Janice of Vermont; Joseph Gieda and wife Fran of NJ; two loving sisters, Valerie Graef of Stewartsville, NJ; Maureen Gentry of PA; she also had several nieces and nephews and their loving children who she adored. Also surviving is her Dog Sunshine and her Cat Magic who she loved as her babies.

A viewing will be held on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 from 3-6pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 Rt. 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876.

A prayer service will begin at the funeral home on Wednesday, December 21, 2022 at 5:30pm. Committal is private.
