Blair E. DeBois Sr. Branchburg, NJ Blair E. DeBois Sr, 97, of Branchburg, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 31, 2017 at his home. Born in PA, he was a resident of Fall River, MA for many years of his life before moving to NJ. He resided in Milltown for a short time before moving to Branchburg 62 years ago. Before his honorable discharge, Mr. DeBois worked as a machinist mate for the United States Navy and served during World War II. He was an avid basketball fan, loved going square dancing with his wife and friends, and cherished spending quality time with his family. He will be sadly missed by all who knew and loved him. He is preceded in death by his beloved parents Sadie and John DeBois, 2 sisters and 2 brothers. Surviving are his beloved wife of 75 years, Miriam Slack DeBois; 3 dear sons, Blair Jr. of Branchburg, NJ, John and wife Colleen of Flemington, NJ, and Robert "Bob" and wife Christine of Washington, NJ; his loving daughter, Barbara Losee of Kinnelon, NJ; 4 cherished grandchildren, Blair III, Robert, Steven, and Michelle; and 4 adored great-grandchildren, Blair IV, Courtney, Cherie, and Summer. Viewing will be held Sunday, September 03, 2017 from 10:00am-12:00pm with a prayer service beginning at 12:00pm at the Branchburg Funeral Home 910 US Highway 202 South, Branchburg, NJ 08876. Committal will be private.
