Betty Jane Dotson Betty Jane Dotson, 96, of Branchburg, NJ, passed away peacefully on November 16, 2018 at Robert Wood Johnson Hospital. Predeceased by her parents, Mildred and Eugene Bott, Betty was the beloved wife for more than 30 years to the late Nelson Dotson; loving mother of James Dotson; cherished grandmother of Lindsey (Sean) Paonessa; beloved Gigi to great-granddaughter Adelaide; dear sister of predeceased siblings Catherine Bott, James (Mary) Bott, and Jack Bott; sister-in-law of Carolyn Bott; and aunt to Jack, Shelly, Carrie and Mark. Betty was born on January 2, 1922, in Aliquippa, PA where she resided until moving to Lakewood, NJ. She worked in Aliquippa Township School district as a chef. Betty enjoyed trips to Atlantic City, visiting family in Buffalo, and spending Sundays watching the Steelers games with her son at Chelsea's Restaurant in Lebanon, NJ. A cremation took place following her death and a celebration of life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to a charity of your choice.
